It’s too bad about the movie though. I knew a few people that were really excited about it but i never heard anything from them after they saw it. They were probably just embarrassed. Ian did you ever end up seeing The Last Airbender?
No Drew I did not. I’m still kind of curious. I enjoy the show (still have the last 4 eps to finish) and I read Sean at Filmjunk’s review which seemed pretty reasonable in terms of the critical backlash. I guess when I do check it out (probably on BD in a few months) I’d expect to have 2.5/5 review or something in that range. Thanks for continuing to listen. We have more with Zack coming up as we recorded him talking about the TV series Justified and will hopefully have him for the Inception one soon.
I liked it. But i went with 9 other people that did not like it, and some of them really hated it. I understand all their criticisms but i guess i was too determined to like it as i really liked the show and even more so the concept. So yea i guess all things aside, it’s not a good movie but it wasn’t unenjoyable.
I hear yah Drew. The concept is great as an original piece of work in terms of how they relate the 4 cultures to styles of living/fighting and general personalities. It’s also great to see something that is somewhat original in terms of action/adventure. Like I said I don’t know much about the movie’s quality but at least it isn’t another damned remake.
Pre-Daters… you’re on to something with this. You could have both male and female pre-daters; a female pre-dater testing out a male would be hilarious.
I know right. I might hammer out an outline for this one as my throw away sell it to Hollywood to make into a derp-de derp movie.
