Possibly. He's pretty well versed in this material. Being a Philosopher king he probably has a good retort for that but who knows. In the end it all comes down to rhetoric and language and what defines life and sensation, etc. The heady ones were fun. This was an odd time in the Futile Podcast thank you Aiden for the comments and please keep listening and tell your friends and become a fan on Facebook if you do that whole thing.

In relation to the movie- the matrix can never fulfill or impact the visceral need in the way that a human requires because it is solely received through the mind or the cerebrum. In like fashion, a machine, no matter how advanced, can never relate to humans in a visceral sense because it doesn't have a viscera. That is what is lacking in the Matrix.

The discussion is very much between the visceral vs. the a-visceral or cerebral.
